Stranded Foreign Tourists Safe in Wolong

Foreign Tourists stranded in Wolong in Sichuan Province because of the giant quake that shook the region are safe and uninjured officials with the Wenchuan Wolong Giant Panda Administration said on Wednesday afternoon. The group included more than 50 foreigners. Telecommunications had been cut off since Monday's earthquake. Located only 30 kilometers from the quake's epicenter, Wolong is famous for the Wolong Giant Panda Protection and Research Center.
