18 Foreign Tourists still not Contacted After Monday's Quake

As of Wednesday afternoon 18 foreign tourists traveling in China's Sichuan Province have not been contacted according to officials in Sichuan Province's foreign affairs office. They are not missing, just out of reached the officials stressed. The foreign tourists included 15 British, 2 American and 1 Thai. It is believed that the British group is stranded in the Wolong Nature Reserve, and the other three who started their journey from Shenzhen could be in Wenchuan County. The Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Office said on Tuesday that more than 2,000 tourists including the foreign ones were stranded in the area.
