Day 1
Upon your arrival at Gonggar airport, you will be met by your local guide and escorted to your hotel in Lhasa city (2-hour drive). After checking in the hotel, you will get a chance to rest for a while to get acclimated to the high altitude.
Day 2
Today's tour will bring to Yombulagang Palace, Changzhu Monastery and Samye Monastery. After the tour, drive to Lhasa (220km, about 3-hour driving).
Day 3
Your tour today will include Lhasa's cardinal landmarks, the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and the flourishing Barkhor Street.
Day 4
Today we will bring you to the Norbulingka Park, the Drepung Monastery and the Sera Monastery.
Day 5
Today you will be driven from Lhasa to Gyantse (about 256km, 5.5-hour), along the way you will visit Yamdrok Lake and a Tibetan family. After arriving in Gyantse, you will visit the Palcho Monastery.
Day 6
After breakfast, you will be driven from Gyantse to Shigatse (about 90km, 1.5-hour). In Shigatse, you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery and the free market.
Day 7
Today, you will be driven back to Lhasa (280km, about 6 hours driving) along the Yaluzangbu River. You will be amazed by the beautiful valley along the way. After a rest in Lhasa, a farewell dinner will be arranged at a Tibetan restaurant for you to enjoy local food with traditional Tibetan singing and dancing.
Day 8
On this day you will be free until your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
