*Important note about the exchange rate:
1. Reference exchange rate: please refer to BOC EXCHANGE RATE.
2. The quote we provide is in Chinese currency-RMB, the equivalent quote in USD is based on current exchange rate between the RMB and the USD. The quote we provide in USD is subject to slight change due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, though our quote in RMB will remain the same.
3. Our average deposit amount is 2,000 RMB, but this amount is subject to change. It could possibly be higher, or lower depending on group size, and itinerary. Your personal travel consultant will adjust the amount accordingly.
4. The remaining balance is due 20 prior to your tour date.
Pay by Credit Card Authorization Form
China Odyssey Tours accepts credit card payment with authorization letter by fax. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express Card, Diners and JCB card, but not debit card.
Right now we do not provide online credit card payment because China's e-commerce infrastructure is not so safe and stable as that in western countries. But with authorization fax, it is safe and easy:
1) Please find the credit card payment authorization form at the end of this document or download it.

2) Fill your VALID credit card information (card type, number, card holder's name, billing address and card holder's signature, etc.) in the credit card authorization form.
3) Fax the authorization letter and a copy of your passport to us at: +86 773 5821166
4) After we receive your fax, we will acknowledge the receipt by sending you an email, and then we will send it to Bank of China which will help us get your payment from your credit card issuing bank.
Important Notes
1) The rules of Chinese Government do not allow us to charge in foreign currencies. Credit card payments charged in CNY are based upon the prevailing rates in China. Your card issuing bank will debit you in local currency and China Odyssey Tours will have no control on the rate of conversion used by your card company.
The result is that the amount charged from your credit card might be slightly different from the amount on the credit card authorization form.
2) We do not accept credit card payment if you confirm the booking and pay us less than 10 days prior to your arrival date. In this case the only way to pay us is by Western Union service.
3) If you choose to pay with credit card and if you book a packaged tour, China Odyssey Tours will bear the credit card processing fee (approximately 3% of the total payment).
China Odyssey Tours now take Paypal as the No. 1 payment gateway. Whatever if you have or have not a Paypal account, you may pay us securely with Paypal. Use this payment gateway, you don't need to pay any processing fee.
After you have confirmed a certain amount of payment for the travel service you are going to book from China Odyssey Tours, your travel consultant at China Odyssey Tours will send you a PayPal payment link via email. By following that payment link, you will be transferred to Paypal's secure online payment website. If you have a Paypal account, all you need to do is to login to your Paypal account and click the "pay" button. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can still pay us at Paypal's website by providing your credit card information. Paypal accepts all the major credit card and debit card.
Please keep in mind that you should only pay to China Odyssey 's only Paypal account as:

If there is Western Union Service in the area where you live, you can choose to send us deposit through Western Union. The information for Western Union Transfer is as below:

After you send us the money, please tell us the full name of the remitter, sum of money, details of your address, and also the Money Transfer Control Number provided by Western Union.
Western Union is the fastest way to pay us. We can get your money in a couple of minutes after you send the money. So it is an ideal way for the late bookings.
It's also very easy to pay us by wire transfer.

Please write your travel consultant's name on the postscript when you transfer the money.
It may take 5 days to 3 weeks for the wired payment to reach us. So we do not accept wire transfer payment if you confirm the booking and pay us less than 20 days prior to your arrival date.
