A Good Time in China We Never Forget

Dear Yoko,

We have now been almost one week back in Finland, so it is time to thank You for the tour. All in all it was a very nice experience - we saw many interesting and beautiful places and whole tour was excellent. Of course there were some difficulties but that is only normal when you travel.

Here is some feedback of our tour: All tour guides and drivers were very good and helpful. They gave us much information and time to see places in our own speed.

In Beijing everything went smoothly, we saw the places we wanted and our guide gave us a lot of information - he understood that we have been in beijing before and showed us a little bit different places than before and that was very nice.

Lhasa was probably the most beautiful place in our tour - the biggest setpack was the mountain sickness I got. Luckily I had one and half day before that and could see most of the places. Of course it was a sad that I missed the sera monastery and norbulingka park - but Sari saw these places, lucky her. We both missed the visit in tibetan family.

I felt a lot better immediately after we left Lhasa and in Chengdu I had no problems at all. Visit to Mountain Emei was also a good experience and the sceneries there were beautiful. The only minus was that we thought beforehand that we will also go to the top of the mountain (with cable car perhaps) but did not happen - of course the time is limited and we did not explicitly say when arranging the tour that we will go to the top. But anyhow sceneries were excellent, although it was quite foggy. Leshan and the giant buddha are something extra ordinary. It was raining a little and was quite foggy so we couldnt first go to the river cruise but luckily the weather get better later and our guide and driver arranged so that we went there. And then back in Chengdu we visited panda base - that was an excellent visit because we had a lot of time to see them. All in all chengdu/sichuan visit was very nice.Our guide in chongqing was very helpful and drove us to the supermarket so we were able to buy some snacks.

Beginning of the river cruise was unforgettable. Fengdu ghost city was nice but the sceneries were great - especially the gorges and the Shennong stream. Nature can be so beautiful.

Last stop on our tour was Shanghai. And it looked amazing and was very nice experience. The museum there was excellent and the city showed the modern side of the china. The hotel was excellent and it was nice to look over the city in the evening. Unfortunately the time was limited and we only saw some major places and had some time to do shopping. Maybe we had to come back one day.

In the end I must say that the tour was excellent - we did like it and we most probably will visit china in the future as well. I like to also thank you Yoko for the arrangements and taking care of us - like when I was sick in Lhasa. All in all we had a great time and we saw places that we will never forget.
